The AccessPro door automator promotes resident independence by automating doors to open, close, lock and unlock on command. The lightweight remote keyfob attaches to a walker, wheelchair, scooter, or may be attached to a lanyard or bracelet. Up to 15 remote controls can be programmed to operate a single door. A simple push of a button activates the AccessPro from 30 feet away. The automator will slowly move the door using less than 9 lbs of force, and automatically stops if there is an obstruction. Residents can safely migrate through the doorway without having to push, pull, or hold open a heavy door. Included with each door automator is an electric door strike that automatically allows the door to open and then relock.
The AccessPro door automator can be disabled simply by pulling the "unlatching arm". Room keys can also be used to lock and unlock the door for manual exit and entry if desired as well.
